Those with poorer self-perceived health and lower life satisfaction are more likely to engage in emotional eating, which can negatively impact mental and physical well-being. Recognizing and addressing emotional eating through stress management and promoting overall life satisfaction may help improve health outcomes in this vulnerable group.
