Effective strategies to promote healthy screen use among adolescents require broad, multilevel approaches that consider social and contextual factors influencing screen habits and related health outcomes. Current interventions often overlook equity and long-term impacts, suggesting future efforts should integrate social determinants and assess sustained effectiveness to better support preventive health in youth. Engaging families and tailoring interventions to at-risk groups may enhance success in reducing problematic screen use and its mental health effects.
